Dr. Chaguinian specializes in the literatures of medieval France (langue d’oïl and d’oc).
His interests include: chanson de geste, theater, lyric poetry, medieval Latin production and the religious knowledge of the laity during the Middle Ages.
He also works on Barbey d’Aurevilly, a French novelist of the 19th c.
