This is a faculty-led program that will last 5 weeks. We plan to depart May 26th, 2018 and return June 30th, 2018. During that time the students will take the Accelerated Spanish 2040/2050 course taught by Dr. Pierina Beckman. For this course the students will earn 6 credits.

Prerequisites are a 2.50 GPA and to have completed SPAN 1020, SPAN 1030, or equivalent with a "B" or better by May 2018.

The students will live with Mexican families. Two students will be assigned to each host family, with private bedroom and shared bathrooms. All meals are included in the cost. Breakfast and dinner will be provided by the host family. Students eat lunch as a group at a restaurant close to the school. Wifi is available in most host homes, and students will have access to a computer lab at the Spanish Institute, where classes will be held. There will be a weekend excursion to Mexico City and many others in and around Puebla
