Please join us in welcoming our new department chair, Dr. Carol Anne Costabile-Heming! Dr. Costabile-Heming is a professor of German and comes to us from three years of experience as professor and chair in the World Languages Department at Northern Kentucky University. She brings with her to UNT more than 20 years of teaching experience and the knowledge from several administrative appointments and leadership roles, including three years as an Associate Dean at Missouri State University and service as President of the American Association of Teachers of German.

Dr. Costabile-Heming is very excited to be here, and we extend our warmest greetings as she settles in.

In the same breath, we offer our sincere thanks to Dr. Marie-Christine Koop as she returns to her position as professor of French after an eight-year appointment as our chair.
