Moscow Nights Ensemble

The Russian Folk Music ensemble, Moscow Nights, visited UNT on October 24 and 25. They were brought to campus by Dr. Tatiana Filosofova, of WLLC, in conjuction with the Division of Music History, Theory, & Ethnomusicology as well as the Departments of Anthropology and History, supported by a Charn grant.

Student events took place in the Departments of Anthropology, History, and World Languages. In addition, the Music Building hosted two well attended shows where audience members learned about Russian and Ukranian music, musical instruments, and dance.

Thank you to all collaborators for organizing this successful event!
