UNT Students Win at the 23rd annual Dallas Japanese Speech Contest

UNT students of Japanese, Michael Luna and Holly Westbrook, placed 3rd and 5th (respectively) at the 23rd annual Dallas Japanese Speech Contest*, held on February 15, 2020.

Congratulations Michael and Holly!

*Dallas Japanese Speech Contest is sponsored by the Dallas Japanese Association and organized by the Japanese Teachers' Association of Texas in the Dallas region. We send students to Texas State Japanese Language Speech Contest in March in Houston each year. There were 47 participants from High School to College divisions for 2020 competition in Dallas.
