Despite the crisp and cool autumn gusts, many people visited our department's table at the 2023 Dallas Japanese Associations Akimatsuri Fall Festival. We talked with many people in the local community, including current UNT students and UNT alumni. We also had the chance to share information about our programs to K-12 students and their parents, educators from the SMU Art Department, the ASIA Society Texas, and the Dallas Japanese Association. It was great to see some of our Japanese students participating in this community event.
